Teacher of Creative Mindfulness

As a dancer, musician, performer, writer, and clinical counselor, Dr. Jamie brings a uniquely creative style to her teaching. Her ultimate goal is to bring the art and joy of healing to others. Jamie strives to incorporate music and other forms of creative expression into her practice.

As her career developed, Dr. Jamie's love for experience-oriented methods of healing and trauma resolution intensified, prompting her to explore the "conscious dance" scene and various ways of applying these wonderful, "come as you are" practices into the healing process. Having completed several trainings, Dr. Jamie was encouraged and inspired to develop her own, unique practice, which now exists in the form of Dancing Mindfulness.

In addition to her Dancing Mindfulness practice, Dr. Jamie strives to make the skill of mindfulness available to all through various breath, body, and mind exercises that help others to ground, be present in the moment, and enjoy life with reduced stress and anxiety.
