The recent discoveries/theories in Quantum Physics regarding " multiple universes" may add some complexity to this discussion of free will. I'd be interested to hear (see) your thoughts on that. Great course, BTW. Thanks

Well, my own view on the free will issue is that reflections coming out of quantum physics don't contribute much to the discussion, unfortunately. They do reintroduce randomness - a kind of "freedom" - at the micro-level, but don't end up connecting up with what classic conceptions of free will, at the macro-level, typically mean by "freedom". There is, however, an interesting precursor to the reflections stemming from quantum physics - the "swerve" of the classic Epicureans
