That was awesome. First time on this app and I love it. I have 50 to 60 fat quarters laying around. I purchased them because they were pretty and didn't know what to do with them so they are sitting in a box. We all drink water and I always have to write names on battle but this is great if I let them pick the design they want. Thank You

I plan to make these for my family as we will be traveling together next summer. However, I kept waiting for a lining as you had mentioned 2 fat quarters and I thought one would be for that. As well as the fusible, I might try some Insulbrite to keep the water cooler. Thanks for the lesson. BTW the fabric was lovely.

Hi Carolyn G, Thank you for the comment. I apology if the materials list wasn’t clear. Only one fat quarter is required for the strap and the tote body (which is folded to make a self-lining). I would love to see a photo of your water bottle totes!

Trouble O
I like the tutorial very much and think I can made 10 of them for my sister's children for Christmas as they are so simple. It is so hard to come up with inexpensive gifts to give them as, like I said, there is 10 of them at present. The water bottle holders may make it easier for them in school with all the books they have to carry. Thank you.

Thank you for this comment...Being from a large family too, I understand the need for inexpensive (but still useful and made with love) gifts. Your idea sounds great!
I hope you will post a photo of your finished bottle totes.
