Hi Isabelle - hoping you can help me with a project maybe similar to this. I have a beaded tapestry that I want to hang on a wall somehow. I’m thinking of making a frame similarly, painting it, and using fabric tape to adhere the tapestry. Problem is, the tapestry is really heavy, and I’m afraid the tape won’t be strong enough, but I don’t want to staple the tapestry. Thoughts? Thank you!!
You might want to try using double sided carpet tape - I've used it before and it's very sticky. I never tried to stick it to wood but I would image it would. Here's the link (I got it at Lowe's). Hope that helps! https://www.lowes.com/pd/Capitol-3-62-in-x-15-ft-Clear-Pressure-Sensitive-Seam-Tape/3117163?cm_mmc=SCE_PLA-_-Flooring-_-CarpetAccessories-_-3117163:Capitol&CAWELAID=&kpid=3117163&CAGPSPN=pla&store_code=1144&k_clickID=5c7f00b3-bf4a-4e32-b76d-1a93ca8fdbf5&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9ab22cOD2QIVU
