Donna and Ashleigh Ward are a mother/daughter team from Hamilton, New Zealand, owners of Donna’s Quilt Studio specialising in all things patchwork and quilting.

Donna began quilting and tutoring more than 25 years ago. Today her passion is working with contemporary fabrics, combining precision piecing and appliqué with detailed free motion machine quilting. She has won a diverse array of national and international awards but is most proud of being awarded the Jewel Pearce Patterson Scholarship for International Quilt Teachers in 2003.

Ashleigh has followed in her mother’s footsteps and shares similar passions but with a younger fresher outlook.
