I am a Melbourne based botanical artist specializing in Australian native and exotic plants. I paint mainly in watercolor. My career spans over 30 years in art, graphic design and illustration. I have botanical artwork represented in private collections both in Australia and internationally.
I am fortunate to have a career in the creative world. Being a graphic designer and illustrator in Melbourne keeps me busy and I enjoy teaching botanical art in classes around Melbourne and specialist workshops in regional Victoria.
In 2006, my ‘Banksia integrifolia’ was one of eight selected for the Illustrated Garden Collection, or florilegium, of significant plants growing in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. I exhibit paintings in the Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition, Kawarra Native Garden Art and Wildlife Exhibition, Camberwell Rotary Art Show, Birregurra Art Festival and the “Nature in Art” exhibition at Park Orchards Learning Centre.
