Omg I love the “play date” comment!! So true!! You’re too young to date and you shouldn’t need to be told how to play.

I wish I had this book while raising my 4 children, although my parents were the baby boomers my father and we we upper middle class my father ( although I was a girl ) realized my mechanical abilities and built my childhood chores around them. I’m a female Journeyman plumber/Pipefitter/steamfitter now and I was also a prototype CNC machinist and programmer for 8yrs prior. I did all the wrong things with my 4 and all adults now the 2 oldest are struggling 27 and 30 Is there any way I can repair?
