Author Jeff Hobbs published “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace” in 2014. It was named as one of New York Times' 100 notable books of the year, and was one of the winners of the Los Angeles Times' Book Prizes. In 2007, Hobbs published his first novel “The Tourists,” which became a national bestseller. Hobbs graduated with a BA in English language and literature from Yale, where he was awarded the Willets and Meeker prizes for his writing.
