Michael Sorrell has been president of Paul Quinn College since 2007. In 2002, Sorrell was named one of Dallas’ Forty Under 40, and in 2011 was given the Minority Business Leaders Award by the Dallas Business Journal. Under Sorrell's tenure, Paul Quinn College has won several HBCU awards, including 2011 HBCU of the Year, the 2012 HBCU Student Government Association of the Year, and the 2013 HBCU Business Program of the Year.
