What is the math to determine how many rows to spread your increases over? In this case you said it would be every other row, but I would assume that would not always be the case for every person.
Benjamin Krudwig
It's generally the case that every other row is the standard, and you keep increasing until you reach your chest measurement. If you wanted calculations, try this. Measure the distance from your neckline to your under arm, calculate the # of rows that would be, determine how many stitches you have at the neckline, and how many you need at your final measurement. Calculate the difference between these final two measurements, and this gives you an idea of how many stitches you need to increase by
Benjamin Krudwig
Then, divide that number by 8, (because that is how many you increase by in each increase row) this should give you the number of increase rows you need. Then, divide that number by the number of rows you calculated at the beginning of the first comment, and you should get how often you need to do an increase row. All of this is very flexible, and not all measurements are set in stone. Hope this helped!
