Banjo Lemonade
Let's Play!

BanjoLemonade is your spot for learning to play clawhammer and frailing banjo.

My name is Mandy and I've been teaching banjo in person, online, and via skype now for several years. I have been playing banjo for over 10 years and also play guitar, mountain dulcimer, and mandolin. I have participated in several bands in the past and currently am in a duo as well as a church band.

At BanjoLemonade you will learn the basics of frailing banjo and clawhammer banjo. You will learn how to play songs within the first few lessons. You will get tips on singing while playing and how to incorporate instrumental breaks into your songs. You will also learn how to play with other instruments as lead and as back up. All of this will be delivered to you with lots of additional learning aids (tablature and more), as well as step-by-step instruction through each technique or song. There will also be plenty of helpful tips to get you over hurdles and through things you may experience as a beginner. All this you will learn without the need to learn to read music notation. Most of all you will have a great time with me learning how to play your banjo.

So come on in and sit down awhile and let's get to pickin' that banjo.

Mandy
