Hi Dave:
Nice to hear from you. No trick to learning chords. However, I would recommend you start with say two or three chords like the C, G7, and D and practice these three chords changing from one to another until you can change fairly easily without any pause in between chord changes. I would recommend you taking my complete course. I have used this course to teach thousands of students to play guitar. It will work for you. Good Luck, Sam Lyons
