Mary, you can... but it's truly a world of difference with fresh, even if the fresh are underripe, just cook them until they are soft.

could not follow recipe instructions at all, kept stopping, starting over, repeating, stopping. totally useless all the hit & miss info & static starts & stops.

Yes, 350 your standard baking temperature, sorry it wasn't more obvious in the recipe, til it's golden brown on top.
