Hi Cath, we live in a Sub-tropical area with hot humid Summers and very pleasant Winters and so we tend to be able to harvest more during the 'çold' season. We're in high Summer right now and plants really getting burnt at times. I am starting a fresh compost heap and do have some Comfrey plants which I want to propogate. We have been using Comfrey for its éxcellent medicinal properties but I will now also be feeding my veggies and herbs.

It's great to hear that Comfrey is being used in many ways. I also live in a humid sub-tropical climate, so know how these conditions can be hard on gardens at times.
Also try making a comfrey 'tea' brew for your garden.
Soak a few good size handfuls of chopped comfrey in a large bucket of water for about 2-3 weeks. Top up water regularly to add extra oxygen and when it gets really smelly it is then ready to water around plants, soil and foliage. Liquid foliar applications are great for garden
