I workout on the weight machines at the gym and can do some decent weights for someone as fat as I am. Ten minutes of this and I feel like you're trying to kill me!!!

Hi Shelley, you can feel free to mute. I talk to my students throughout the workouts because I feel it's very important to focus upon proper form. Because it takes years for a student to truly master all of the movements on their own, reminders and explanations are a proven method of making the connections quicker. There's no sense in doing a workout with poor form. Sorry you don't like it, but as I said, if you're very advanced, just mute the computer & turn on some music.

Can the course be modified for "older" adults? 70+

Absolutely, my advice is simply a smaller range of motion. As you gain strength, you will be able to increase that range. Pilates is actually perfect for that age group because it strengthens muscles in functional positions. I hope that you try it out and see whether it fits well into your life!
